Today we went to check out Henry Burgers in Southend-On-Sea, it's been open for about a year they've recently opened up another branch just down the road in Leigh-On-Sea.
As fans of GBK and Byron Burger, we definitely had to give these burgers a try!
The selection of burgers and drinks was great! We each picked a milkshake to have so of course one of us picked Oreo Milkshake - which came with an Oreo cookie, then the other was Pistachio! They were really thick and delicious because they were made from ice-cream! Yum!
The food menu has about 12 items, but you can definitely mix and match the ingredients to create your perfect burger! We had one smoke house and one beef burger with bacon, and we both had sweet potato fries (which is a must). We chopped and changed a few ingredients so we had extra tomatoes, jalepenos and a cheeky onion ring in there too.

Needless to say the burgers are HUGE! Both of us ended up leaving half of our fries, even though they tasted amazing!
On the menu there was also chicken burgers, hot dogs and salads. Also a tonne of extras to have as sides and some very tempting desserts, but we were so full up we had to give these a miss!
The decor in Henry Burgers was really inviting and a little bit industrial, lots of exposed cables, bright lights and wooden furniture. Everything looked like it had been recycled, all odd wooden chairs, the tables were made from wooden palettes.
We really loved it here, and perhaps next time we go we will be able to try some of the delicious looking desserts and cocktails!
On the bar they also has some very interesting cocktail and shot mixes, Jalepeno infused tequila, rhubarb and vanilla vodka and even a selection of fruity Belgian beers!
