We are Sophie and Yasmin we both grew up in different ends of Essex, United Kingdom. But met in 2009 where we started college in Southend and we both studied Art & Design. On our lunch breaks at college we would usually be found heading to the local high street shops, whether it be Boots, Superdrug, H&M or Topshop we would always find ourselves a bargain. This is where our love for clothes and beauty really blossomed.
After college we both went on to study different things, Sophie ventured off to Ravensbourne University in London to study Graphic Design (graduated this year woohoo) and Yasmin studied a two year qualification in Makeup Artistry.
5 years on we are still the best of friends, we first decided to start blogging and making videos in 2013, we used a desk lamp and our trusty MacBook camera!
When we got together we would always sit and watch videos from Elle Fowler, Tanya Burr, Zoe Sugg and Pixie Woo, and one day we just thought, we could do this! The next morning we filmed our first video, which was awful... the quality, the editing, the lot... Needless to say it is no longer on our channel!
We love trying new products and sharing it with people. Putting together outfits, sharing new makeup tips and tricks with people! Having learned a lot about make up and beauty from watching YouTube videos as a teenager, we felt like creating video's ourselves was a great way to give back, share and add to what we learned, making videos for our 16 year old selves!
